Dogs and Cats Living Together!

Adopt a Pet This Weekend: Pete the Bolter & Shelly Belly

Pete the Bolter, my Executive Assistant, has been with me over two years, adopted from a Harris County No Kill Animal Shelter out in Cypress, Texas.

Pete would like to respectfully suggest that you check out your local animal rescue groups and shelters when looking for a new pet family member.  Don’t want a puppy?  There are lots of adult dogs, cats, birds and more in need of a forever and loving home.

This is Shelly Belly, my former personal bodyguard, another one of our “rescued” dogs who stole her way into our hearts.  She’d been at a rescue shelter for several months, was adopted and returned, before my youngest son and I found her.  Shelly passed away after many wonderful years with us, adopted as an adult, and she will always be my Pointy-Earred Princess.

Adopt a pet, save a life, and perhaps your own.
